Each year in February, students and faculty anxiously look forward to the week of Interim at Saint John's Prep. During this week, students do not follow their typical class schedule. Instead, students have the opportunity to pursue an area of interest found in the Interim courses being offered by our faculty. Examples of offerings this year: Dog Sledding, Video Production, the Films of Alfred Hitchcock, Service Trip to Atlanta, Cake Decorating, Twin Cities Museum Tour, Service in St. Cloud, and more. This is also the week that Saint John's Prep hosts trips abroad. Groups of students will travel to Costa Rica and Italy/Greece this year. China and Washington D.C. are scheduled for the 2012-13 school year.
Our 6-8th grade students also have a week of Interim activities. 6th Grade students will participate in a reader's theatre excursion, a cooking class and a bio mimicry challenge project. Our students in 7-8th grade will participate in a variety of activities, including bowling, skiing and snowboarding, and a field trip to the Science Museum.
