Board Purpose & Focus

The SJP Alumni/ae Association Board of Directors exists to provide leadership and motivation to the rest of the alumni/ae in 3 key areas:

  1. Communication
    1. PREPLife
    2. Web Site
    3. Each member helps to gather Class Notes
    4. Phone calls
    5. Personal (face-to-face) contacts
    6. Personal notes and letters
    7. E-Mail communication
  2. Participation in Event Planning & Marketing
    1. Summer reunion(s)
    2. Standups
    3. Major Events: The Prep Classic @ Madden’s, Gasthaus, Collegeville Colors, Legacy Dinner, Prep at the Paramount, Grand tour
  3. Fund Raising
    1. Each member sets the example with his/ her own annual gift
    2. Each member sets the example with a leadership contribution to capital campaigns and special projects
    3. Each member works with his/ her class to increase the number of donors
      “It matters not what you give, but that you give”
    4. Each member considers his/ her membership in The Legacy Circle

The SJP Alumni/ae Association Board of Directors is self-perpetuating, meaning that the current membership must identify, recruit, and develop new members to replace those who are retiring.
